For health concerns try to choose the largest protocal possible that is affordable for you.  We want to help you find out what is in your water making you sick so the larger the test the better chance we have figuring out your water issues.  

Most choose the FHA, VA, USDA protocal for the H.U.D. underwriting requirements prior to closing to satisfy lender requirements when buying a home or refinancing.  Alternatively many choose the standard test or larger when purchasing a home even though it may not be required by the lender to ensure safe water to protect your health and investment into the home purchase.  

Many people also test bodies of water such as lakes, ponds, streams, rivers that are on their property as well to ensure safe fishing & swimming.  You would want to choose an environmental option at least  for that type of water testing.
